Uk’s favourite Mozart opus is the Requiem

In the run-up to Radio 3’s sea­son The Genius Of Moz­art, listen­ers to BBC Radio 3’s Break­fast show have voted Requiem Mass in D minor K.626 as the Nation’s Favour­ite Mozart.

‘Soave sia il vento trio’ from Cosi fan tutte and the Cla­ri­net Con­certo in A into second and third place respectively.

The Genius Of Moz­art begins on BBC Radio 3 on Janu­ary 1, and will run for 12 days.
