Glenn Close may return to Sunset Boulevard

Andrew Lloyd Webber has wanted to film his musical Sun­set Boulevard for many years. In fact, which bet­ter musical to film than one about films.

The Daily Mail says that Lloyd Webber may court his Broad­way Norma Des­mond, Glenn Close, to return to the address of 10086 Sun­set Boulevard for the film. He told the paper,

We’d rehearse and use a sound stage or a theatre and film it as a per­form­ance on stage.”

He said that unlike Love Never Dies, which was filmed on the stage show’s set in Aus­tralia for about £400,000, a design team would need to con­struct all of Sun­set Boulevard from scratch, total­ing nearly £1.5 million.
