After last year's surprise hit at Milan's La Scala of a revival of Petit's “Pink Floyd Ballet” with Svetlana Zakharova, Massimo Murru, Guillaume Côté and Altankhuyag Dugaraa, the company are now touring the production to Turkey. From tonight in Istanbul Congress Centre the La Scala ballet will perform five performances over the next four days.
“Our goal in bringing this project to Turkey is to support cultural and artistic relations between Turkey and Italy,” said businessman Celaleddin Bilgiç, who is responsible for staging the project in Istanbul. “The Pink Floyd Ballet is one of the projects that we have initiated in order to improve relations between Turkey and Italy.”
