In a talk with the Daily Mail about her working week she said:
“It’s difficult to say that I have a typical week because we do so much different stuff. For the seven weeks after a trials or after our break in the summer we’ll swim only five times a week — as we’ll also do rock climbing, biking, gymnastics, running, kick-boxing and ballet.
“If you are swimming up and down for so many weeks, it can turn into the most tedious thing ever. We still keep the ballet and kick-boxing, even in our main training programme. The kick-boxing is in a proper Rocky-style gym.”
