The latest gala from La Scala as part of its programming for online streaming videos, and recorded without an audience present in the theatre, is Serata Grandi Coreografi (Evening of Great Choreographers) which will be streamed via Teatro alla Scala's website, and its Facebook and YouTube pages on Saturday 15 May 2021 at 20.00 CET.
“Great choreographers of the past and present” (or rather, ‘great and good choreographers'), “is a mix of excerpts of well-known” (or rather, ‘well-known and lesser known') ballets for an evening full of “evocative and emotional involvement, to transport the audience into a dimension made of energy, colours, vitality but also of elevation, elegance and lyricism”. It's a full programme designed to show the company's dancers at their best.
