At two o'clock yesterday afternoon the funeral of tenor Salvatore Licitra was held at Vedano al Lambro, in the province of Monza, near Milan.
His brother, Fabio, remembered a smiling Salvatore, which he said is how his brother would have wished.
After the mass, a cortège followed his coffin from the church to the cemetery where he was laid to rest.
