La Scala announced several days ago that it wouldn’t be issuing season tickets this year as planning a whole season would be unwise. The theatre announced that instead, today, at 11.30, it would announce programming from the beginning of the season – 7 December – until March 2021. However, this morning La Scala decided to cancel its online press conference.
In view of the evolution of the epidemic in recent days in Italy and Europe and the consequent uncertainty of the regulatory framework, Teatro alla Scala has decided to postpone the press conference to present the calendar from December 2020 to March 2021, scheduled for today.
The performances scheduled until Monday 19 October 19 are currently confirmed.
Teatro alla Scala will follow the developing situation and will announce as soon as is possible information about subsequent performances as soon as the regulatory framework is clarified.
