London City Ballet announces a 20 Venue UK and European tour

London City Ballet’s Artistic Director Christopher Marney has announced the company’s touring plans for the 2025 season as well as the full company of dancers for the season. The tour takes in 8 UK venues, Spain, Portugal, Greece and an 8 venue tour of France. The details are below.

The programme for the tour and Theatre will include ‘s Pictures at an Exhibition, ‘s Haieff Divertimento, ‘s Consolations & Lieberstraum and a new creation from Florent Melac, Soft Shore.

To conclude the season the company will make its debut at the Linbury Theatre, as part of the Royal Ballet and Opera’s 2025/26 season performing the London premiere of Jerome Robbins’ Quiet City and a new work by Tasha Chu.

Last year in London City Ballet’s first season back after 30 years it was a UK Theatre Awards nominee for ‘Achievement in Dance’ and DanceEurope’s Critics Choice for ‘Best Company’, ‘New Name to Watch’, ‘Best Director’ and ‘Best Revival’ for ‘s Ballade.

Alina Cojocaru (as guest artist), Alejandro Virelles, Joseph Taylor, Nicholas Vavrečka. Arthur Wille, Jimin Kim & Cira Robinson will return to dance in the coming season and will be joined by 15 dancers, representative of 10 nationalities, from artists at the start of their career to experienced principal dancers: Samuele Barzaghi (formerly Paris Opera Ballet), Yuria Isaka (former soloist at Staataballett Berlin), Sahel Flora Pascual (formerly School of American Ballet, Ballet Austin), Constance Devernay-Laurence (former Principal at Scottish Ballet/TV actress), Josue Gomez (formerly Birmingham Royal Ballet), Pilar Ortega (formerly Joffrey Ballet Studio Company, Indianapolis Ballet), Siméon Sorange-Félicité (formerly Conservatoire de Paris) and Lydia Rose Hough (formerly English National Ballet School).
