After the internet images which ‘seem' to depict the Bolshoi Ballet's manager, Ghennadi Ianin, in unspecified sexual acts, he has been hurriedly replaced by Bolshoi dancer Jan Godowsky.
Godowsky is maybe best known for the video of Roland Petit's Pique Dame. The Bolshoi press release was vague, but underlined the fact that Ianin, 42, wasn't engaged in unlawful sexual behaviour.
The scandal started when hundreds of people received links to the internet site which featured Ianin. Godowsky has made no statement.
